Holocaust honored

I was privileged to act as a parent mentor at the Miami-Dade Schools Student Awareness Day for about 2,000 students at PortMiami.

Actual Holocaust survivors sat with them and told their stories of Adolf Hitler, murders, death houses, hate and bigotry.

The Holocaust Documentation & Education Center and founder Rositta Kenigsberg planned the event for these teens to ensure they’ll never forget this significant part of world history.

It was a day that I shall never forget.
