Death sentence
To say we have the death penalty is not true. Since legal authorization, less than 10 percent of those sentenced to death have ever been executed. If what is ordered doesn’t come to pass, it is worthless (Fix for Florida’s death penalty approved, March 4).
In Florida alone, 389 prisoners now sit on Death Row awaiting execution. Some have been waiting for more than 30 years. Most of them will probably die of old age.
