Why does it not surprise me that another alleged incident of corruption by a Miami-Dade public official has been investigated and the offender was found to have not violated any ethics regulations?
As reported in the Oct. 9 article Doral Mayor Boria not charged after ethics probe, the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust and the state attorney’s office allowed what looked like another clear case of corruption to go without punishment.
Information and evidence are brought forth by brave concerned citizens who refuse to allow corruption to continue, yet judges and others treat the case as if they were minor parking violations. Corruption is a cancer on society. We must take a stand against it.
