Tweak Marlins now

Jefferey Loria’s knee-jerk decision to replace Mike Redmond with Dan Jennings is a big flop. It’s time to pull the plug.

This team is going through the motions and sleepwalking through most games. It takes a strong dugout presence to kick start the obvious talent on this squad.

A “nice uncle,” front-office type isn’t going to do what is needed to get team members motivated to earn their pay. I know he’d look bad making another change, but it won’t be the first time he has stumbled. If Loria isn’t willing to switch now, he should find a proven winner for next season. And please, just tweak the personnel, but leave this team intact for next year and allow it to gel.
