Gainesville man served wrong birthday breakfast, pokes girlfriend’s eye

So when a Gainesville man was not served his preferred birthday breakfast by his girlfriend Sunday morning, he poked her in the eye, The Gainesville Sun reported.

James E. Irving Jr., 44, was arrested and taken to Alachua County jail on a misdemeanor battery charge.
