Tropical Storm Oscar dissipates over the Bahamas, sprinkling the islands with rain

Oscar dissolved over the Bahamas Tuesday afternoon, drenching the islands with a few inches of rain.

The former tropical storm is expected to drop about 3 to 5 inches of rain on the Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos as it crosses the islands.

As of the 2 p.m. update, the National Hurricane Center said the storm dissolved. The Bahamas revoked its tropical storm warning.
