Hurricane Milton made landfall Wednesday night in Siesta Key, Florida, as a Category 3, packed with 120 mph winds.

Milton — which had twice been a Category 5 before making landfall — caused multiple fatalities, a series of tornadoes, millions of power outages and serious incidents of wind damage across Florida, even blowing the roof off of Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.

Reporters with the Miami Herald, Bradenton Herald and Tampa Bay Times have been bringing you the latest news about the impact of Hurricane Milton. In this map, you can see wind speeds in different parts of the state and click on and read stories we’ve written.
