According to the National Hurricane Center’s 11 pm Saturday advisory, Tropical Storm Gert is 710 miles east-southeast of Bermuda, with maximum sustained wind of 60 mph. It’s moving 6 mph to the north-northeast.
"No significant change in strength is expected before Gert is forecast to generate into a trough of low pressure early Monday." meteorologists state.

Yesterday, Gert became a tropical storm with sustained winds of 60 mph after intensifying from a tropical depression.
