As per the National Hurricane Center's 5 am Thursday update, Tropical Storm Franklin is 55 miles east-northeast of Grand Turk Island, with maximum sustained wind of 50 mph. It’s moving 13 mph to the north. Tropical Storm Franklin is forecast to strengthen.

RAINFALL: Franklin is forecast to produce the following rainfall totals through Thursday:

Hispaniola: Additional 1 to 3 inches.

Turks and Caicos: 1 to 3 inches, mainly across the eastern islands.
