Miami’s first weekend of 2025 will be a cool one. Make sure you have a jacket.

A cold front entering Miami toward the end of the week could lead to temperatures in the 50s overnight and early in the morning.

“Through the weekend, we’re going to be seeing a cold front drop through the area which can usher in a cool blast of really cool temperatures in the region,” said Ana Torres-Vasquez, National Weather Service Miami meteorologist.

The coolest time this weekend will be from Saturday night through Sunday morning. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low-50s in Miami-Dade County and some areas near the Everglades could get as cold as the high-40s.

While the weekend will be a cool one, you can plan on being dry. No rain is expected throughout the weekend with a chance for cloudiness.
