Brrr! Cold front is hitting South Florida Monday night. How low will it go?
A cold blast is coming to South Florida.
Starting Monday night, temperatures will drop due to arctic air that will chill the region, and we’ll be feeling it when we wake up on Tuesday morning.
But the cool-down is temporary, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.

Here’s what the forecast looks like this week, according to the weather service:
Monday will see a high near 83, with gusts as high as 23 mph and a 20% chance of rain. At night, temperatures will drop to as low as 49 degrees.
Tuesday, temperatures will reach a high of 69 — and a low of 62 at night. It will be a breezy day, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Wednesday is forecast to be mostly cloudy, with a high of 76 degrees during the day and a low of 66 degrees at nighttime.
Thursday will have a high near 78 — and a low of 67 at night.
Friday’s weather should remain chilly (by South Florida standards) at night with a low of 68 degrees. During the day, it is expected to be mostly sunny with a high of 80.
