The rain didn’t treat us well on Monday.

It swamped streets and highways. Put us under a flood advisory. Shut down the Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports for hours. Soaked us as we dashed to the car.

Forecasters say it might not be much better on Tuesday.

The National Weather Service is predicting a 40% chance of rain. And CBS News Miami meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez says we should be ready for more severe storms with lightning, heavy rain and flooding between noon and 8 p.m..
