Tired of those extra coffee runs? You’re about to get warmer naturally

Is your bank account suffering from the extra coffee runs you made this week? You’re about to save some money.

The forecast shows a warming trend is on the way, which means we get to say goodbye to the cold front that dropped South Florida’s temperatures into the low 50s the past three mornings and sent Broward County into an extended cold weather emergency .

Temperatures are expected to start warming up Thursday and Friday, with highs in the 70s. But it won’t be until the weekend when South Florida will see temperatures bounce back to “near average” over the weekend, according to Vivian Gonzalez, WSVN’s meteorologist.

Before you start trolling Florida’s weather on Twitter again, just know highs are forecast to be 80 with lows around 70.

That means you can still wear boots and a light sweater without melting in the sun.

The National Weather Service in South Florida also doesn’t expect to see any rain this weekend so it looks like it’ll be the perfect time to visit Art Basel in that stylish outfit you’ve created.

Those who want to visit the Keys, however, might see some showers Sunday and Monday — but the chances are a low 10 percent, according to forecasters.

What about the other parts of Florida?

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid- to high-70s this weekend, with lows in the 60s for those living in the Orlando and Bradenton area, according to the National Weather Service. Theme park goers should keep checking the forecast however.

Forecasters say Saturday and Sunday have a 20 percent chance of rain.

The Tallahassee area also won’t see temperatures in the 30s anymore, but extra clothing layers are still needed. The forecast shows temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s until Monday, when it’ll jump to the high 70s. Forecasters say there will be a 20 to 30 percent chance of rain from Friday night to late Monday.

Goodbye, churros and hot chocolate.
