Late-night roadwork to slow drivers on 826, 836 highways

Ongoing road work on the State Road 826/State Road 836 Interchange will lead to overnight lane closures and detours for some drivers. Here are the details:

CLOSURES ON SR 826

From Saturday, May 14 to Friday, May 20, three southbound lanes will be closed from NW 25th Street to SR 836, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

CLOSURES ON SR 836

From Sunday, May 15 through Friday, May 20, all eastbound travel lanes on SR 836 will be detoured to the West Flagler Street/NW 72 Avenue/Milam Dairy Road ramp between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Drivers can:

▪ Exit at the West Flagler Street/NW 72 Avenue/Milam Dairy Road ramp

▪ Continue east on the eastbound SR 836 collector road

▪ Merge onto the eastbound SR 836 mainline lanes after NW 72nd Avenue
