Traffic alert: Roads reopen after a deadly crash in Doral

A major street in Doral has reopened Friday morning after a major crash that killed a man and scattered wreckage across the road.

Around 2:30 a.m. Doral police officers responded to the crash in the area of Northwest 107th Avenue and 33rd Street, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office. Deputies say the driver lost control of the car and struck a tree.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the man dead. MDSO traffic homicide unit detectives have taken over the investigation

Northwest 107th Avenue was shut down between 33rd and 41st streets. The stretch reopened before 9 a.m.
