Officials reopened a stretch of Interstate 95 in Miami after downed power lines fell onto the road Sunday and caused a multi-hour closure, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Northbound I-95 was closed from U.S. 1 to Southwest Eighth Street, Lt. Alex Camacho wrote in an email. Southbound I-95 was also closed from Southwest Eighth Street to U.S. 1.

Traffic camera footage of I-95 at Southwest 20th Road at 4:30 p.m. showed the road had reopened.
