Crash closes stretches of Florida’s Turnpike near north Broward. What to know

If you’re planning to head north on Florida’s Turnpike on Monday morning, be prepared for closures and delays in Broward following a car crash.

All northbound lanes from Commercial Boulevard to Coconut Creek Parkway have been closed since early Monday morning due to a multi-vehicle crash, according to Florida 511.

At least two cars were wrecked in the crash, video shows. Authorities recommend taking U.S. 441 to avoid delays as Interstate 95 is also congested.
