Rollover crash stopped several lanes of Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale during rush hour

A rollover crash badly backed up traffic on southbound Interstate 95 in Fort Lauderdale late in Tuesday’s evening rush.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue posted to social media the crash, which occurred around 6:20 p.m., was a multi-vehicle crash near the Sunrise Boulevard exit.

Traffic cameras showed only the farthest left lane open, then no lanes open. Two of the five lanes were moving by 6:45 p.m. and all lanes were open by 7 p.m.
