A multi-car crash around 8:30 a.m. Monday shut down both express lanes on one side of Interstate 95 in North Miami-Dade and, for about 20 minutes, one lane on the other side.

Trucks and personnel dealing with the crash still had the northbound express lanes blocked just south of Northwest 95th Street until the early afternoon.

Both southbound lanes were in use again by 9 a.m., although the left express lane, which was closed entirely, was slowed.
