Driver dies after being ejected from a car in a Coral Gables crash, police say
A fatal crash shut down portions of Le Jeune Road in Coral Gables on Monday morning, according to Coral Gables Police Department.
The driver was ejected from the car and died at the scene, said Coral Gables PD Sgt. Alex Escobar.
Police had not released the driver’s name as of Tuesday morning.
North and southbound lanes were closed between Southwest 14th Street and Mendoza Avenue, police said on X, formerly Twitter.
