Traffic alert: Truck overturns, spills load, closes an entrance to Palmetto, FHP says
An entrance to the Palmetto Expressway was closed Friday morning after a dump truck overturned, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The truck was traveling on the northbound ramp to State Road 826 from westbound 836 when the driver lost control.
The truck’s load of sand and gravel spilled onto the roadway, said Lt. Alex Camacho of the FHP.
He said minor injuries were reported.
