Brightline train runs into county bus in Hollywood, leaving three with minor injuries
Three people inside a Broward County Transit bus suffered minor injuries Thursday evening when a Brightline train clipped the back of their vehicle in downtown Hollywood.
The collision happened around 5:15 p.m. at Harrison Street and 21st Ave., Deanna Bettineschi, a spokeswoman with Hollywood police, told the Miami Herald.
After two bus passengers and the driver were injured, they were treated and released at the crash site, Bettineschi said. No train passengers appeared to sustain any injuries.
The crash shut down several nearby streets that have since been reopened.
