I-95 was shut down in Miami early in rush hour after a truck hit a person, FHP says

A tractor-trailer hit a pedestrian on Interstate 95, the Florida Highway Patrol said, sending the man to Ryder Trauma center in critical condition and shutting down all lanes of southbound I-95 from 5:40 a.m. until around 7:30 a.m.

Southbound traffic was sent off I-95 at Northwest 95th Street. The Northwest 79th Street entrance was blocked. Express lanes remained open.
