There’s a major problem during Thursday morning rush hour in Aventura.

A power outage that had railroad crossing arms stuck in the down position, blocking traffic on Ives Dairy Road and Miami Gardens Drive near Biscayne Boulevard, ended 9:24 Thursday morning, Aventura police announced.

This blockage of two main east-west streets worsened the usual morning rush-hour clog in the Northeast Miami-Dade city. Though the two-hour problem was fixed, police still advised using other roads.
