Serious crash on busy northbound I-95 snarls Black Friday traffic in Miami area
Drivers are advised to avoid Interstate 95 around the area of Northwest 95th Street due to a serious accident in the express lanes heading north.
With traffic already heavier than usual from Black Friday shopping, visitors and people off work the day after Thanksgiving, the highway near Miami Shores is jammed due to a crash that happened before noon in the northbound express lanes near Northwest 95th Street.
There are injuries, according to reports but Florida Highway Patrol has not released details on how many people are involved or how many cars crashed.
According to WPLG-Local 10, most northbound lanes on 95 seem blocked.
