A car fire starting around 3:05 p.m. Monday near Northwest 62nd Street in Miami had all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 slowed traffic early in rush hour and pickup hours.

All lanes were blocked for a short time, then only the two right lanes of the main line. Expect traffic to clog and crawl even earlier and slower than normal.

Alternate northbound routes are Northwest Seventh Avenue, Northwest Second Avenue, Miami Avenue, Biscayne Boulevard or, if you come east to get onto I-95 off State Road 112 or 836, take Northwest 27th Avenue instead.
