A jackknifed tractor-trailer had all northbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike blocked near the Northwest 106th Street exit in Miami-Dade from about 1:40 to 4:15 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the truck “failed to properly negotiate the curve” on the Northwest 106th Street entrance ramp and overturned. The driver and a passenger suffered minor injuries.

As of 3:30 p.m., the truck had been pulled upright, but the lanes remained shut. Lanes got reopened and traffic began flowing, albeit slowly, around 4:15 p.m.
