A single-vehicle crash involving a couple of cars had the Palmetto Expressway down to one eastbound lane at Northwest 57th Avenue throughout Wednesday morning’s rush hour.

The crash near Red Road slowed the State Road 826 flow to Interstate 95 to a trickle from about 7:50 a.m. to 9:05 a.m., by which point, traffic stretched back not only past the big curve but beyond the Northwest 154th Street exit in Miami Lakes.
