Southbound lanes of Palmetto Expressway reopen after car overturns near Hialeah
All southbound express lanes of the Palmetto Expressway near Hialeah reopened Tuesday afternoon after a car overturned, according to authorities.
The crash happened at 3:14 p.m. on the express lanes at Northwest 122nd Street. The lanes reopened hours later.
An unidentified person was trapped in the vehicle but was later removed and airlifted to a hospital, according to the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department.
Authorities did not immediately give additional information.
