One dead in tractor trailer crash that shut down part of Interstate 595 Saturday morning
A Saturday morning crash involving a tractor-trailer and two other vehicles killed one person, Florida Highway Patrol said, and shut down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 595 for about three and a half hours.
I-595 eastbound, which had been closed after University Drive in Davie, reopened fully around 10 a.m. after the investigation of the 6:35 a.m. crash.
