At least one person died Wednesday morning in a crash in western Hollywood.
The crash happened in the area of Sheridan Street and Northwest 76th Avenue, according to Pembroke Pines police. The police department says it is assisting Hollywood police with the traffic crash investigation. The area is at the Hollywood-Pembroke Pines border.
It is still unclear if the person who died was a pedestrian or was inside a vehicle at the time of the crash.
Police are diverting westbound traffic in the area and are asking drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid possible rush hour delays.
