Major crash on Biscayne Boulevard makes getting to Aventura Mall harder
A major traffic crash near Aventura Mall is causing heavy traffic. If you’re in the area, police are advising to find another way home.
Just after 6 p.m., North Miami Beach police tweeted that officers were at the scene of a “major traffic crash” at Northeast 168 Street and Biscayne Boulevard.
Police said there were minor injuries to those involved, but have not said how many people were injured.
Drivers are being rerouted to Dixie Highway and meeting heavy traffic.
If you’re on your way to Aventura Mall for late Christmas shopping, using Collins Avenue will lead to less congestion.
