Boca Raton's Krysten Disla, a past resident of the Bronx, Boynton Beach and Lake Worth, would've turned 27 on Saturday. Boca Raton resident Kaylee Marie Heath's 23rd birthday was next week.

Instead, they died before dawn Monday morning, Disla as the driver and Heath as a back seat passenger when their Hyundai crashed into a tree off I-95's Southwest 25th Road exit.

Miami police said the third person in the car, a man in the back seat, walked west from the crash at Southwest First Avenue and 25th Road and collapsed. Described by police as "seriously injured," he was taken to Ryder Trauma Center.

According to police, a 911 call around 5:15 a.m. described two cars speeding south on Interstate 95 and one car had crashed on the exit of Southwest 25th Road, the Rickenbacker Causeway exit and last exit before I-95 ends. Officers found the front of the car on fire.

Detectives are looking for the car speeding with the Hyundai, believed to be a white Ford Sport Trac with black rims.

The Southwest 25th Street/Rickenbacker Causeway exit of Interstate 95 south was closed for several hours.

Anyone with information can call Miami police at 305-603-6000.
