Traffic snarls on 95 southbound and Alton Road due to fatal accidents
Two accidents Friday morning, one a fatality involving a pedestrian, led to traffic jams on the roadways in Miami-Dade.
Traffic is shut down in the 700 block of Alton Road between Sixth and Eighth streets in Miami Beach due to a fatal accident involving a pedestrian, Miami Beach Fire Rescue reported.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Another accident, on I-95 south of 95th Street, near Miami Shores, has at least two lanes blocked on the highway. A woman in what looked like fuchsia medical scrubs was unconscious in the road when Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived.
Emergency vehicles are on the scene.
