Here's what happened in Orlando, moment by moment

The FBI investigated Orlando shooter Omar Mateen in 2013 after he made “inflammatory comments” implying ties to terrorist organizations. They closed the investigation after speaking with him twice. In 2014, an FBI official said Mateen had contact with a known terrorist. It was determined there was no relationship, so the investigation was closed. Last week, the 29-year-old bought guns, and on Sunday morning he opened fire at the Pulse nightclub, killing at least 49 people. Here's what happened:
