Bradenton police looking for man who delivered heroin wrapped in a burrito to hospital
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and finding a man who dropped off a burrito with a heroin-filled syringe inside at Blake Medical center, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
The man handed a Blake employee a bag of food he said was for a patient. When the employee checked the food inside the bag, a syringe was found hidden inside a burrito, the Bradenton Herald reported.
The Bradenton Police Department was immediately called.
The liquid inside the syringe was tested by police with a field test kit, and it tested positive for the presence of heroin.
The man was said to be between 6 feet to 6-4, with a thin build and “bleach blonde” hair.
Anyone with any information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-634-8477 (TIPS).
