A man put a gun to his former boss’s head and pulled the trigger during an argument over not getting paid, Florida authorities said.

He “narrowly missed,” and the supervisor survived, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Rajache Greenlee, 34, is charged with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony with a weapon, armed burglary of a dwelling and robbery with a firearm, deputies said June 17 in a news release.

Greenlee showed up at a Tampa construction site June 14 to confront his former boss over “unpaid wages,” according to investigators.

Then he’s accused of taking out a handgun, putting it to the man’s forehead and threatening his life.

He pulled the trigger, but the bullet missed, deputies said.

Greenlee then broke into the residence that was under construction at the site, “caused more than $1,000 in property damage and stole a nail gun before fleeing the scene,” according to the sheriff’s office.

Law enforcement tracked his car from the air during a multi-agency manhunt, then he was taken into custody in neighboring Pinellas County, deputies said.

“Pointing a firearm at someone’s head and pulling the trigger over a financial dispute shows an alarming disregard for human life,” Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said. “There is no place for this kind of behavior in our community.”
