Gambler celebrating birthday bets 88 cents on slots and wins jackpot in Florida
A gambler ended up with “an amazing birthday present” after winning a slot machine jackpot in Florida.
The lucky visitor sat at a Dancing Drums slot machine April 30 at the Seminole Casino Hotel in Immokalee, the casino said in a May 1 Facebook post.
He was celebrating his birthday when he bet 88 cents, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.
Then a jackpot message appeared saying he had won $16,192.39.
“What an amazing birthday present! Congratulations,” one person commented.
“Good for him. That’s a great birthday present!” another person wrote.
Another gambler got lucky at the same casino recently.
This guest was playing a Fortune Drums Dragon Boat slot game when he bet 88 cents and won the $34,535.07 jackpot.
Immokalee is an unincorporated community in Collier County. It’s about a 35-mile drive southeast from Fort Myers.
