Lottery player wins life-changing jackpot in Florida. Where was the lucky ticket sold?
A lottery ticket sold at a Florida convenience store netted a life-changing prize for one lucky player.
Someone hit the Fantasy 5 jackpot, winning $102,255.36 in the evening drawing Sunday, Jan. 26, according to the Florida Lottery. The lucky ticket matched all five numbers.
The player purchased the ticket at the TM Food Mart in DeLand, beating odds of 1 in 376,992 to win the top prize, according to the lottery.
The winning numbers Sunday evening were 3-7-19-34-35, draw results show. There was no winning ticket sold in the Fantasy 5 midday drawing.
It comes days after someone won a Fantasy 5 jackpot worth $111,970.76 in the Jan. 23 drawing, McClatchy News reported. That ticket was sold at a REBEL convenience store in Bonita Springs.
Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Florida Lottery said.
DeLand is about a 40-mile drive northeast from Orlando.
