Lottery player scores huge jackpot prize in Florida. Where was winning ticket sold?
A Fantasy 5 player netted a life-changing lottery prize in Florida, officials said.
A ticket sold in Pensacola matched five numbers in the evening drawing Wednesday, Jan. 22, to win the $111,892.95 jackpot, according to the Florida Lottery.
The lucky player purchased the winning ticket at the Palafox Quick Stop convenience store, beating odds of 1 in 376,992 to take the top prize, officials said.
The winning numbers Wednesday evening were 18-29-30-32-35, results show.
There were no jackpot winners in the Fantasy 5 midday drawing.
Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, the Florida Lottery said.
Pensacola is about a 60-mile drive southeast from Mobile, Alabama.
