A Bradenton area Publix shopper got lucky with a $1 million lottery hit on New Year’s Eve

The last set of lottery draws of 2024 made for a happy start to 2025 for a Publix shopper in the Bradenton area.

Nobody hit the Mega Millions, Jackpot Triple Play or either of the Fantasy 5 jackpots. Someone in Maryland won $1,000 a week for life from the Cash4Life drawing.

But, a Quick Pick ticket from Publix at 11245 U.S. 301 N, in Manatee County’s Parrish area matched the first five Mega Millions numbers of 13, 22, 27, 29 and 35, winning the owner a $1 million second tier prize.
