Sha’Carri Richardson is a Florida woman. Where the sprinter lives may surprise you
You may have seen Sha’Carri Richardson showing off her lightning fast skills at the Paris Olympics.
What you may not know is that the track and field star, who just clinched the silver medal in the 100-meter finals, is also a Florida resident.
South Beach? Brickell? Nah. Nowhere near Miami, or Palm Beach, even.
The 24-year-old Dallas native reportedly bought a home in Clermont, not far from the Orlando area, back in 2022, for $580,000.
According to The Real Estate Insider With Lam Rashon, the four bedroom, three bathroom home is a little under 2,500 square feet, with a glass-enclosed backyard, complete with pool, barbecue and lounging area.

Clermont, known to visitors for its vast orange groves and historic Florida Citrus Tower, isn’t as random a place for a sprinter to set down stakes as you think.
The city, with a population hovering around the 43,000 mark, is also home to a number of professional athletes, with major incentives for them in the pipeline.
Last year, plans were announced to build Olympus, a 250-acre mixed use development that will feature a running course as well as hockey arena, soccer fields and world class tennis center.
“It’s just the place that you’re going to want to be for entertainment, for restaurants, for shopping, obviously, for the sports component, but really a place you want to live,” spokesman Matt Carroll told local station Fox 35. “We have so many athletes that train here and call Clermont home so it’s very easy to sort of integrate that and what we’re bringing into what’s already established in town.”
