Cute? Overpriced? Both? Tiny Florida home for sale comes with hefty price tag. See it
Tiny houses have been all the rage lately — with their small price tags and the ability to move them anywhere. These little beauties are often between 100 and 400 square feet with the price varying from $15,000 to $100,000 “depending on how tricked-out the space ends up being,” Realtor reports.
But one tiny house appears to pushing the boundaries of cost per square foot. A 388-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom residence has listed for $379,000 in Tampa, Florida.
What?
“Hyde Park single family home, three blocks from Hyde Park Village,” the listing on Realtor.com says. “This small early (1910) free standing home sits on a 32 x 87 lot and is close to everything Hyde Park has to offer. Walk to Bayshore Blvd, SoHo, Amalie Arena or Water Street.”
Built over a century ago, the residence offers up the following, according to the listing:
Front porch
Living room
Bedroom
Kitchen
Bathroom
Washer and dryer
“Small in size but big on impact and potential,” the listing notes.
The home sits on a 2,784-square-foot lot, so there is potential to build onto it if a new owner chooses, it’s also within walking distance of everything.
The listing is held by Harvey Petty with Keller Williams Realty Tampa Central.
