Four people were hurt, two critically, when a boat parked at a Florida marina burst into flames, fire officials told news outlets.

The boat was having trouble out on Lake Tohopekaliga, the Kissimmee Fire Department told WOFL, prompting the group to bring it back to shore Nov. 7.

They parked the boat on its trailer at the Big Toho Marina parking lot in Kissimmee and started to work on it, fire officials told WKMG.

As they worked, the boat suddenly caught on fire for an unknown reason, the fire department told WFTV.

In a video shared on Facebook by WOFL reporter Pattrik Perez, flames engulfed the boat, and a tower of black smoke plumed into the sky.

Three of the people working on the boat were airlifted to an Orlando hospital, two of them in critical condition, officials told WKMG.

A fourth person was treated for minor injuries, WFTV reported.

A Facebook post from the Kissimmee Marina said all staff members were safe from the fire that started as they were “wrapping up” their day.

“Thank you all for reaching out and checking on our staff and on us,” the marina said.

Kissimmee is about 25 miles south of Orlando.
