Mick Jagger just sold his Florida mansion for $3.25M. He made some rock star changes
Mick Jagger will no longer have to deal with hurricane threats, congested traffic or various species of reptiles. The Rolling Stones frontman is no longer a Florida man.
The 80-year-old “Gimme Shelter” singer just unloaded his Lakewood Ranch mansion for $3.25 million, three months after listing it with his ballerina girlfriend Melania Hamrick, 36. The couple, who have a 6-year-old son, Deveraux, bought the place in October 2020 for $1.98 million.
As per Manatee County records, the house, built in 2008, is registered to Hamrick, who has family in the area.
Located east of Bradenton, on the Gulf Coast, the 5,700-square-feet four bedroom, five bathroom home is nestled inside the exclusive Lake Club gated community.
Perks include a heated saltwater pool, courtyard, three balconies, a bell tower, sleek kitchen appliances and the, um, satisfaction of knowing that Mick slept there.
The new owners, who wish to remain anonymous, will also have the benefit of rock-star-quality privacy. Jagger and Hamrick were reportedly forced to make a few changes to the property because they were “inundated with celebrity seekers.” The duo added extensive landscaping around their property as well as three camera towers.
The seller was represented by Christine Spelman with RE MAX Alliance Group and the buyer by Thomas Thomsen with NYLA GROUP FL LLC.
