A man is dead after a shooting outside of a Florida high school football game, police say.

Orlando police officers said they were helping clear the Jones High School Athletic Complex after a playoff football game on Saturday, Nov. 12, when they heard gun shots fired at 8:22 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot north of the field and found two men with gunshot wounds.

One of the men died, Orlando Chief of Police Eric Smith said in a news conference posted to the department’s Twitter page. The other victim was hospitalized but there was no update on his condition at the time of the conference.

Later, around 10:30 p.m., officers said they learned an additional victim transported themselves to a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officers detained four juveniles, the department said in a news release. One of them was found with a firearm.

The department said it thinks it has a ”possible suspect in custody,” but the investigation is ongoing.

The suspects are believed to have come from the football game, Smith said in a news conference with local reporters, according to Spectrum News. Officials think it is possible that an argument between two groups led to the dispute.
