There have been lots of changes in Florida the past few years. The pandemic lockdown that shut restaurants and bars, and then limited their hours. Vaccines and dropping COVID rates that have sent almost everyone out again to have a good time.
Did all that keep us away from buying more at the liquor store? Or are we coming home with more bottles of booze?
Then there is inflation. It costs more for a drink, no matter where you get it.

Here’s a look at how much alcohol people are buying from Florida retail stores. The data come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which also tracks our meat and fruit purchases.
