What’s causing those massive lines at Epcot? This adorable purple dragon souvenir

Headed to Epcot for the International Festival of the Arts anytime soon?

Prepare for longer lines than usual.

Why? The snaking queues have nothing to do with people social distancing for COVID. They’re apparently clamoring for a new souvenir: the Figment Popcorn Bucket at the Pop Eats food stand, located on the World Showcase Plaza.

The purple snack container is in the shape of Imagination Pavilion’s popular dragon, who also happens to be the annual fest’s mascot.

On social media Friday, cast members and guests showed just how long visitors will wait to get the adorable, take-home bucket, priced at $25.

One blogger tweeted out a clip of an impressively long human chain with the caption, “In case you’re wondering how the Figment Popcorn Bucket situation is going, here’s a look at the line during EARLY ENTRY (aka, before EPCOT officially opens).”

Willing to spend up to six-plus hours to get this merch? Remember, masks are not required for outdoors, but they are mandatory at all indoor attractions.

The fest runs Friday through Feb. 21.
