Almond milk or whole?

While many people disagree on this topic, it rarely leads to violence.

Over in Lehigh Acres, Florida, early Sunday, it did, according to a police report from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responding to a disturbance call around 2 a.m. Sunday arrested Justin Anthony Garcia, who allegedly attacked his cousin for disagreeing with him about almond milk. It’s unclear from the report whether Garcia favors the vegan-friendly, non-dairy beverage or not.

On its Facebook page, the LCSO posted a mug shot of the 31-year-old, along with the caption, “Got milk?”

The post said the Florida man “cried over spilled milk” when the victim wouldn’t agree that his choice was “obviously superior.”

As per the complaint, as the argument escalated, Garcia punched the victim in the shoulder, then went after him with a three-inch pocket knife, cutting his torso and causing a “small laceration.”

A witness who was working on a car in the driveway corroborated the victim’s account of the incident and was able to separate the two until law enforcement arrived.

Garcia was charged with aggravated battery and transported to the Lee County Jail. The victim was granted a restraining order.
