Baby left inside a hot car in Florida, and deputies tried to save life

A baby died this week in Panama City, Florida, after being left inside a hot car.

Deputies with the Bay County Sheriff’s Office found the newborn inside the vehicle on Wednesday. A deputy performed CPR, but when paramedics arrived, they pronounced the baby dead, according to a statement from the sheriff’s office on Twitter.

Police did not have more details. The sheriff’s office said it is investigating the incident.
